Morbid Candy is the creative work of Sharyl Chow.

Illustrator, Designer , Video Game & toy lover, she graduated from Dawson College in Illustration & Design in 2009. Her works have a distinct style reminiscent of manga comics and often contain the look of Vintage packaging or children books from the past.

Most of her works contain young women or cartoonish figures amidst a world of luxury, nature and excess. She spends most of her time reading old books from her mother’s youth and bathing her mind with anthology books containing retro and vintage ads from the 20s and 60s.

Known for her '' Earthly '' color palette and intriguing inking style, her artwork are easily recognizable. As a child living in Montreal, she has been exposed to different art styles and creative content. Her vast knowledge of Manga, Comic Books, Pop Art, Traditional Painters, Toys and Video Games, makes her an ideal artist to work with as she can adapt to any art forms.
